A place where moms can get together to talk about their mood and feelings after having a baby. Whether it is Postpartum Depression or the Baby Blues, you are not alone and there is support out there for you! Depression, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed and a feeling of inadequacy can be common in the months after giving birth. My hope is that this group can help support, educate and connect you to community resources.

I'm a soon-to-be first time mom expecting in July, and would love to get a South Bay Mamas group together. I'd love to plan a weekly meet-up at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach starting in August, as well as a weekly walking group, and wanted to get the ball rolling early!
